Pickler who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, went through a difficult childhood. She was abandoned by her mother when she was just two in order to get out of the abuse of her partner. Then she returned to Pickler's world in 1995 when she took custody of her. However, things didn't work out the way she had hoped. Pickler, then 12, was returned to her parents by justices.
